Criminal Inquiries: Slick Rhetoric or Solemn Pledge? The Whole World is Watching

"If laws were broken, leading to this death and destruction, my solemn pledge is that we will bring those responsible to justice on behalf of the victims of this catastrophe"
Today, President Obama said these words referring to the BP oil disaster; we, the people urge our President to pledge the same to the peace activists of the flotilla attcked by the IDF and to the people of Gaza who are under siege with our continued complicit assistance to Israel, funded by the US Taxpayer.
Mr President, we need words and actions we can believe in! NOW!

BP and Proof that Grease Works

I am having doubts about this oil spill and its greasy players, but perhaps I'm too suspicious, but:

Don't you find it puzzling that BP has been allowed to blatantly and arrogantly ignore US energy and environmental agencies' mandates?  I must look at information and try to answer the questions I have, the answers to which should either disperse or confirm supicion: here we go:

Who is US Energy Secretary?

Dr Steven Chu

What did Stephen Chu do before becoming US Energy Secretary?

He was head of a science laboratory at the University of California.

Where did Mr Chu's laboratory get major funding?

When Mr Chu was head of that laboratory, it received a $500 million(five hundred million) grant from BP.

Whom did Dr Chu appoint as his Undersecretary
Dr Steve Kooning, formerly BPs chief scientist

Conclusion: Grease works!
And GREED KILLS (again!)

The Real TOXIC DISPERSANTS

Problem:  BP continues to refuse to stop using toxic dispersants while the devastation of our environment continues


Question: Why haven’t we filed criminal charges against BP?

Answer: Because it’s all driven by GREED and the oil barons and corporate slicks and lobbyists (the other form of toxic dispersants) control all! Naturally they could stop the spill but they want to continue syphoning the oil; furthermore, more drilling permits are being issued! Shame on US!

Perpetuating Profits and Propaganda

Today, Russia, China and the USA, the new triumvirate of profits and propaganda
"have struck a deal on sanctions for Iran"... Are you paying attention?
Good.
Do you have the same questions I have and do you come to the same conclusion?

Questions:
• Why not sanction ever imposed on Israel?

• Don’t we, the US, also possess nuclear arms? Who sanctions US?

• Aren’t we, the US the only ones who actually USED the atomic bomb?

• Weren't we enemies of superpowers China and Russia (whom we villified and demonized) and now, on this, we are “friends/allies?” I guess we made up; naturally , anything is possible for profit and propaganda.

Conclusion:
Anyone who is awake realizes exactly what a NYT commentator said: that “the intent of the superpowers is not so much the fear of Iran developing nuclear weapons as it is their(the superpowers’) desire to keep that country as weak as possible in the hopes of fomenting continued unrest and creating conditions eventually enabling the installation of a figurehead similar to the former Shah, who would be willing to be subservient to foreign dictates”. The Audacity of IF and the Probability Theoretical Testicles

IF "Iran gets a bomb"...warns ominously the statement in today's NY T's article...aimed at eliciting images of imminent doom...from an evil nation (evil because it might, when threatened, develop a bomb, as a defensive deterrent) This preposterous exceptionalistic comment exposes the embedded hypocrisy that drives our blind and failed foreign policy.
With the proliferation of the "IF Iran gets the bomb" theme, the article infers that Iran will set an example and consequently other nations will follow...
Let's see...even IF "Iran gets the bomb", I say that it could never possibly set the example;

because IF the xenophobic media wanted to present the facts, it would know that when it comes to "bombs" the US beat Iran to it many years ago! And it was, in fact, the US who set a mighty and devastating example for other Nations!
Obama is right when he exhorts that we will never settle for second place
Way ahead of any other nation the US "got the bomb" AND already used it! Another US first!
Are we afraid that IF "Iran gets the bomb" Iran would be tempted to become like the US and actually use it?

That is certainly plausible but also don't forget  that IF my grandmother had testicles, she would be my grandfather.
